Posts: Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) & Havaldar

Eligibility: 10 th pass (matriculation) of any recognized board

Pay Level: Level-1 according to 7 th Pay Commission (7th CPC)

Major Job Requirements

1. Multi-Task Staff (MTS)

Some of the multitasks that MTS employees perform are moving files, delivering documents by the courier services, changing and maintaining records, photocopying, cleaning, and other minor responsibilities in government offices.

2. Havaldar (CBIC&CBN)

Such tasks of the Havaldar job include helping superiors in their everyday duties, guarding and patrolling, maintaining security, and any other job to do with enforcement.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have the following requirements:

Education: Cleared 10th Standard (Matriculation) in a State approved Board

Nationality: Has to be member of Indian citizenship

Physical Standards: In case of Havaldar posts, the candidates are required to abide by the physical standards and undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Age Limit:

MTS: 25 years-18 years

Havaldar: 18-27 years (relaxation of age as per the government standards of SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen)

Salary Details

The posts are all grouped under Pay Level-1 of the 7th Central Pay Commission and this comprises of:

Basic Pay: 18000 INR/ month

Allowances: House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Transport Allowance (TA) and other allowances

In-hand Salary: 23000-28000 a month in-depending location and allowances

The pension and government benefits are small on top of a decent salary of 10th pass job.
